about amanda

wedding photographer | northern california, new york, destinations worldwide

amanda has always been passionate about design, writing and photography. pivotal to her photographic experience was her time at harvard university and years spent traveling abroad, both of which built her drive to document the faces, places and stories she uncovered along the way.

the drive to document has brought amanda to capturing humans in the most important times, and on the most important days, of their lives. from her early days of portrait journalism and whimsy landscapes, amanda has found a melding of the two in her greatest passion yet: wedding photography.

when amanda is not traveling for work, she and her husband reside in seattle, wa. a true set of west coast converts, they spend their time hunting for the perfect coffee bean, exploring the coastlines and wine country of the pnw, and making room for slower moments that matter most.

philosophy

immortalizing your love story is amanda’s greatest honor. as a recent bride herself, she knows: there will be moments of the day that you and your partner will forget, until you see your photos. amanda’s role is to document these cherished moments so that together you can replay your day for years, and decades, to come.

when she is behind the lens, detail is attended to, emotion is observed, energy is captured. her stylistic approach is romantic, lived-in, refined. she blends documentary (think: fly on the wall observation) and editorial (think: fashion-forward, posed) photography in an effort to achieve her signature aesthetic.

experience

step 1

submit an inquiry form. you will receive a response within 1-2 business days with an overview of service offerings.

step 2

we then will have an introductory call to overview details of your event, and answer any questions you may have.

step 3

once you sign on to work with amanda, we will meet a few times leading up to your event to discuss all logistics (e.g., timelines, shot lists, mood boards, fashion, you name it).

step 4

after your event, you will receive a preview gallery of photos within 48 hrs.

step 5

your final gallery will be delivered via a password-protected, online portal—complete with high resolution and web sized photos for you and your partner.
